Age: Headcanoned at 20 (never given in canon, but she's old enough to marry and have adult responsibilities, while young enough to not be quite on equal standing with the more obviously adult townsfolk.)

Physical Profile:
Magical Profile: Frey is an Earthmate, possessing an innate affinity for working with spirits and natural magic. Studying and using magic is fairly common in the Rune Factory universe, and many characters who are not Earthmates can cast the standard array of JRPG spells - Frey herself knows some basic teleportation magic, unrelated to her Earthmate status. Earthmates themselves are rather rare, the designation seems to be passed on genetically to some extent, and there may have been more of them at some point in the past, as there are references to an ancient Earthmate language and other marks of Earthmates having a distinct culture of their own rather than being just a class within a larger culture.

What specific abilities Earthmates have is hard to nail down, and some of their powers have more to do with secret knowledge than innate abilities. In general, they have a green thumb and a knack for plant- or life-related magic, and monsters/animal spirits/etc are drawn to them. Characters that can sense magical ability or see souls might perceive Frey as being a magnet or good conduit for life or spirit energy, or observe that her presence has a good effect on life-magic-y things, or something of that sort.

It's open to interpretation because shit's nebulous.

Personality Summary: A spirited protagonist. Amnesiac, extroverted, dedicated, compassionate, wisecracking. Pushes self past reasonable limits sometimes. Likes plants and animals.

Personality Details:

So! Frey. Frey has no idea who she is. Talk to other people, and they'll be able to tell you all kinds of things - she's reliable, she's resourceful, she's always willing to lend a hand, she practically talks to people's houseplants but she can't tell flowers apart to save her life, she's Selphia's trusted Princess and sometimes people worry about her because she forgets that she, too, is a person with needs like food and sound sleep.

Which is probably in part because she has no idea who she is - she loves Selphia, she loves the people she's met, but she's starkly aware that her life is a huge blank up until the moment she got pushed off that airship, and she worries about this whenever she dwells on it. It makes her feel...inadequate. Like she's missing the depth of experiences every other human being (and elf and dwarf and dragon) has, so...maybe that makes her feelings less important, or makes her less of a presence in other people's lives than they are in hers? This is silly, of course. Frey has quite a lot of personality, and she's carved a space for herself in every heart in Selphia since, uh, landing there. She's just not really aware of that.

Frey normally acts in a genuinely kind way, though when other people's drama escalates, she steps into the background almost unconsciously, hoping to help support or solve the problem from the shadows but uncomfortable with taking an active, opinionated role - or maybe just not sure enough of her own character and convictions to consider herself a viable player. Her personality probably shines through best when she's stressed, surprised, or forced to react suddenly. Even in moments of high tension in canon, as a player character she's given the opportunity to respond in punny or absurd ways, and other characters often read these dialogue options as a sign of stress or exhaustion or something they should be concerned about. From these and many other lines and instances it's very safe to assume that Frey often uses humor as a coping mechanism when things get a little beyond her, lacking the innate weirdness to keep up with some of the nonsense she gets roped into but possessing the wit to defuse it with absurdity instead of letting herself get more and more wound up by things that confuse her.
